The Fluid Movement System

Heal Pain With The Fluid Movement System

Most back pain treatment focuses on where it hurts. The Fluid Movement System goes deeper — to why it hurts.

Developed through years of working with athletes and business professionals, this is a structured, root-cause approach to resolving pain and rebuilding the body from the ground up. It's not a generic program. It's a step-by-step system built entirely around you.

Assess

Everything starts here. Before a single exercise is prescribed, we spend up to three hours taking a full picture of your body — orthopaedic testing, postural analysis, primal movement patterns, and infant development screening. This level of assessment is rare, and it's what separates lasting results from short-term relief. We're not guessing. We're identifying the exact root causes driving your pain.

Tailor

No two bodies are the same, so no two programs are the same. Using what the assessment reveals, I build a corrective exercise program and holistic lifestyle plan designed specifically for you. This includes targeted movement work to restore balance and stability, alongside coaching on the lifestyle factors — mindset, nutrition, hydration, and recovery — that either accelerate or sabotage your progress. Everything is intentional. Nothing is filler.

Monitor

The body changes, and your program should too. Through regular reassessments, I track your progress and adjust the program as you evolve. This keeps you moving forward without plateau, and ensures that what we're doing is always matched to where your body is at right now — not where it was six weeks ago.

Educate

This is what makes the results stick. You'll learn why you're doing each exercise, how your body works, and how to manage your own health well beyond our time together. The goal isn't dependency — it's autonomy. You leave with the knowledge and tools to take ownership of your body for life.

This is how pain gets resolved — not by chasing symptoms, but by addressing the system as a whole. If you're ready to find out what's actually driving your pain and build a body that works the way it should.

Disc Injuries

Disc injuries can significantly impact the body, affecting not only movement but also the nervous system, organ function, and correct muscle engagement. When discs are herniated or degenerated, they can compress nearby nerves, leading to pain, numbness, or weakness that radiates throughout the body. This nerve disruption influences both sensory and motor function, reducing the effectiveness of muscle engagement and coordination. Beyond the musculoskeletal system, nerve impingement from disc injuries can interfere with signals that control essential organ functions, contributing to digestive issues, impaired circulation, and even altered respiratory patterns. Corrective exercises are critical to address these layers of impact, restoring function and ensuring that the body’s systems work harmoniously.

As a CHEK Practitioner, I design corrective exercise programs that prioritize correct muscle sequencing and engagement. This approach means selecting exercises with specific variables—such as tempo, load, and movement pattern—to activate stabilizing muscles before moving into larger, more dynamic actions. By retraining the body to follow proper muscle recruitment patterns, we enhance posture, restore balance, and prevent compensatory movements that can aggravate disc injuries. Each program is customized to the individual, with exercises tailored to safely activate and strengthen the muscles supporting the spine while relieving pressure on the affected discs.

Moreover, I incorporate the energy systems—anaerobic, lactate, and aerobic—into the programming to promote overall conditioning and functional resilience. For example, slower-paced aerobic work may initially be emphasized to build foundational stability and endurance, allowing the body time to recover while promoting circulation to affected tissues. As strength improves, lactate and anaerobic systems can be trained through controlled resistance exercises, reinforcing muscle engagement and conditioning. By aligning corrective exercises with these energy systems, clients not only achieve pain relief but also experience improved movement efficiency and sustainable strength, allowing for lasting recovery and enhanced quality of life.
